“After working with patients of all ages with various types of illness for almost six years, I have seen firsthand the benefits of a low-carbohydrate, unprocessed, whole foods diet on every aspect of health. It’s remarkable that such a simple tool, something we all use every day can not only prevent, but reverse, so many of the diseases that plague us. That tool is food.”
Erynn Kay, PA-C is a board certified, licensed Physician Assistant who joined South Suburban Family Medicine after fatefully meeting Dr. Jeffry Gerber at the Paleo FX conference in Austin, TX in the spring of 2013. Erynn graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2005 with a Bachelors of Science in Microbiology. She then went on to earn a Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ in 2009. After searching for several years for answers to her own health challenges, she stumbled upon the Paleo diet and has never looked back! For the past seven years, she has followed a Paleo lifestyle and spends time regularly reading and researching the newest literature in functional medicine to best assist her patients, as well as getting involved in the Paleo community of Denver.
Her specialties include general primary care, treatment of metabolic disease, gastrointestinal issues as well as Pediatrics and Women’s Health.
Erynn is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Her hobbies include reading, yoga, walking her dog Linus, and of course trying new low-carb, Paleo recipes out of her many Paleo cookbooks!
